Calendula is a common but beautiful plant that has been well known for
centuries. Its name comes from the ancient Greek "kalein" which
means "the beginning of the month".
One of its peculiarities is that the flower opens its head in dry weather
and closes on a wet day!

Ingredients: extra virgin olive oil, beeswax, wheat
germ oil, calendula, marigold, lavender, St John?s Wort, rose, grapefruit
seed extract.
To Use
Simply massage into the affected area. The ointment can be applied up
to 4 times a day but twice is considered sufficient. Night time application
is especially beneficial allowing deep penetration and relief from itching.
If required, the area being treated can be covered with sterile gauze
and bandage/plaster. It is a good idea to wear old night clothes after
the ointment has been applied to avoid staining of the sheets etc as
the ointment is very rich. The Ointment can be applied to sensitive areas,
including around the eyes. May be safely used on young children and is
suitable for application to any part of the body.
A small amount delivers a significant therapeutic benefit since it is highly concentrated, containing
no water. Although Spiezia products are 100% organic, some people may
still have sensitivity; therefore if any reaction occurs discontinue
use immediately. Always carry out a patch test as a precaution.
